Memorandum Mario De Vega 2022

MEMORANDUM is a public space intervention by Berlin based artist Mario de Vega. This work, based on text-to-speech technology, offers a scenario to reflect on the ongoing coercion caused by hygiene regulations and social alienation. Conceptions on notions of locality, inclusion and multiculturalism are questioned. 24 horn loudspeakers mounted on a vertical pole diffuse automated notifications during specific time intervals.
