VOID

VOID is a visual art project by Arnaud Eeckhout (BE 1985) and Mauro Vitturini (IT 1985), based in Brussels.
The duo founded VOID out of a common ambition: to use sound as a medium to represent reality.
Sound fascination lies in its feature to be so powerful while being so invisible and immaterial. By using sound as the gravity’s centre of a visual, plastic and heterogeneous research, VOID‘s work set up a shift in the field of perception.
The emblematic immateriality of this medium is given shape through an interdisciplinary practice that connects different fields in the form of installations, sculptures, books, drawings, performances, videos…
Their installations are often time-based and site-specific, in resonance with the exhibition’s context and space.
