Liew Niyomkarn is a sound artist based in Antwerp. Liew works primarily with sound synthesis and field recording. Liew’s work expresses the natural behavior of sound into synthetic elements along with found-objects that engages in collective knowledge. Liew seeks to discover another way of being/living is associated with sound and space. She has performed in numerous vends such as High Zero festival in Baltimore, BACC experimental sound festival in Bangkok, The Wulf in Los Angeles, Studio Loos in Den Haag.
