Clarice Calvo-Pinsolle Artist

Clarice Calvo-Pinsolle is from the Basque Country.

After obtaining her DNSEP at the Villa Arson in Nice in 2016, she went on a residency in Colombia then settled in Paris for a few years. She then moved to the city of Brussels where she developed her plastic and sound practice. His work is part of a desire to reflect on the transmission and safeguarding of memories. It is an open investigation on memory, at the crossroads of a sound and sculptural practice. She creates immersive installations that question and modify the viewer's perceptions.

Her interest in field recordings led her to create a collection of sounds that she has been accumulating for several years. Today she uses her sounds in her musical project which exists under the name of Lamina where she composes soundscapes.

She has exhibited in various places such as the Yvon Lambert foundation in Avignon or at the Museo de la universidad in Santa Marta in Colombia. Recently, she was in residence at the studios of Overtoon in Brussels as well as at the GMEA in Albi, a joint residence with the art center Le Lait.
